I think the Exciles game said it all really. A hyped up fixture that was a dire match played by two average teams at best and played in a stadium less than half full.

Just where is our game going? This is supposed to be the creme of the the British game going head to head .. What positives can you possibly take from it? Where was the extra intensity? It was that poor I ended up switching channels and watching the Euro's.

What an anti-climax!
Is that a level playing field I see on the horizon?

If Wigan could confirm the signing, then, following the injury to Thomas Leuluai it may be of benefit to the club to
loan Smith to Wigan until the end of the season and we get a couple of their players in exchange.
With PV having been at Wigan I expect him to have additional knowledge on the character and ability of the players with a view to a permanent signing, perhaps.

We do that and we could get trolled by a Wiganer demanding we produce our own players.....

Political ends, as sad remains, will die.

I think that would be a good idea both for Matty Smith and for the Reds..

True.
But he still signed for Wigan.
SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS

For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.

For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.

Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row
