I agree with the poster who says the Sheffield v Halifax game is the one for TV - it will clearly be the better match and a good South/West Yorkshire derby with a cracking atmosphere.
The Fev v Leigh game will be boring and as Post Office road has no cover on the away end and the forecast is for torrential rain that night the away support will be non existant so surely the modern stadia(s) of Sheffield is just what viewers will want to see


Joking apart I really do hope Fev v Leigh is on the Sunday I feel this one could get a very big gate.
If shunted to the Thursday night minority TV channel game the gate will still be decent IMO but will be reduced massively.

Wanted a home draw but at this stage it didn't matter who we got as all the sides left in at are good enough to win the competiton.

Anyone know when its announced when we play (if its not been announced already)

RFL need to select the Sheff v Fax fixture due to ease of travel, then we can showcase this and get a great gate on - free coaches???

well obviously its the hardest game we could of got, however if we play to our potential, then imo we can and will beat fev. we seem to have some sort of mental block when it comes to playing fev away, as though we're 12 points down before we kick off. We have to start quick and hard, like they do to us, we cant afford to play average in 1st half like we have done recently, then storm back in the 2nd, because fev will be to far in front. I was at first disapointed with the draw, but i have slept on it and i think we owe them one and our lads can deliver.

Fev v Leigh has the potential for a wow!! crowd at this level, just as v Fax or Leigh v Fax/Fev would. Sheffield have no fans so playing Thursday wont really effect the gate as much.

Fax to Fev would be over the tops not via M62/M1 surely, joining M1 at Barnsley - 30 mins max
