After NB's "Quacks and Ducks" a few weeks ago it strikes me maybe he should look for a few at the Galpharm - if he looks like a prop and plays like a prop perhaps he is a prop!! And this applies in several positions.
To labour an old point now I hope that after this short break we get a better balanced team on the pitch and that we get back to some form - we're still well placed for a top four finish and a Cup Final if we can get back to form - and most importantly shore up the defence.
I'm expecting a really low crowd against the Broncos but hopefully a good win will start the turn round to a good finish and re build the attendances.
Judging by NB's comments I reckon he's thinking Moore will be first choice 9 (Moore to Saints next year????) so I'd be happy to get Robbo to 7 and Brough to 6. Lets get Patrick and Mason in to help Eorl out, and with O'Donnell fit and Failogo still fit thats a powerful back row - Fairbank and Chan also options there - but NOT as props! We'll have to wait and see but here's hoping the quacks ring loud and clear and all our ducks are where they should be!

NB to pick players in correct positions, you must be Quackers

On a slightly different tack, should be interesting to see what he does with the 9 quacks at saints if they are only aloud 3.

they dont need names it is a game NB plays called RL team lotto.

The rules are quite simple you get al the available squad numbers who are fit and put them into a hat.

Then you assign a position and take a random number out of the hat and place the numbers next to the position.

That way you have hookers at prop or loose forward, stand offs at loose forward, second rows at prop, wingers at centre full backs on the wing etc.

It is really good fun as the supporters and the players have no idea what the team will be or what position.

in 4 years no one on our board has correctly picked our team and in what position they will play. It is harder to predict than lottery numbers.

Ashe is a bit of a 50/50 one IMO, he has come through our academy so I would count him as academy trained in all honesty.

The rest are indeed 'little ducks' and with Meli and Flannery leaving at the end of the season takes us down to 5, which I'm glad of. Although Manu will be coming in, I'd like to see us get down to 3 or 4 within a couple of seasons.

Huddersfield are in a good position with this, I think you only have 3 or 4 as it is? That should be the number all clubs are aiming for in the short term.

Saints aren't the only ones, Wigan have a fair few overseas players

    Richards
    Lima
    Lauaki
    Leuluai
    Carmont
    Hansen
    Finch

Although I think Hansen and Carmont don't count for various reasons
