Soliola impressed me at centre he had Atkins in his pocket in defence and made a few good runs. His offload to Dureau was unlucky and although we would probably miss him in the pack i'd like to see him there for us next year.

It's an option obviously as he has history of playing there in the NRL but we'd miss him too much from the pack and the middle of the field. He's been one of the most consistent players for saints this season in the 2nd row, his aggressive nature and engine would be wasted in the centre. Leave him where he is.

I wouldn't. He was a disaster at centre in the GF. All it takes is for the opposition player to have a good sidestep and Soliola is screwed. We saw that against Wigan when two tries came through him because he was stepped. He is too slow in his reactions to be trusted in defence at centre and I hope Brown keeps him where he is most effective, which is in the second row.

Atkins has a great step on him and one of the fastest in the league. Elaborate.

I agree with you for once, leave sia on the backrow. Sia does have trouble with players with footwork and also has a tendency to get pulled out the line which would be a disaster in the centre.

He's played very well in backrow with his aggressive running and big hits which we'd lose if he was moved.

His lateral defence is generally poor.

Leave him in the pack for me.

I agree, stepped very easily because he rushes out the line. But he showed he can defend against quick centres last night, I'd still personally have him at second row though.

Why are your opinions of players always brought down to one game.

Meli is rubbish because "he lost us a grand final". your words not mine.
Soliola is a crap centre because "he had a bad game in a grand final".

Soliola was covering in the centre due to injury. Moving from second row to centre late in a game is difficult due to the extra defensive work the second row has had to do. He will be more fatigued than his opposites. It was more down to Leeds good play targeting this, than Soliola being a bad centre.

Turner and Josh Jones should be our two centres next year with Wheeler and Sia as back up if needed (Wheeler can't be first choice as he is always injured)

Leave Sia in the 2nd row where he can de used to our advantage but Brown needs to give him extra defensive training
