As everyone else seems to have their own Exiles thread, I thought I'd get in on the act.
It seems the jingoistic nature of the Exiles game doesn't seem to really be catching on with RL fans on here. So, hows about picking two teams at complete random?
We start by drawing an imaginary line down the middle of the country, cutting it into East and West.
Then, every player in SL is given a random number and is put in a pot with all the other players of his position.
The two coaches then pick out players at random a la cup tie selection.
It creates excitement and an air of mystery as you don't know which players will be selected for the teams.
Good eh?

Fat blokes in the mud, flat caps, bogs that drain pi55 directly onto your boots - Now it's all 'Big Ask', 'Arm Wrestle', 'Collision' 'Contact' 'Facials' 'Upper Body Strength' 'Big Units' 'Scooting from Dummy Half' 'Energy Levels' 'Laying the Platform' and 'T-R-Y'.
Winner of the Aussie Origin series vs England - Market the balls off it as an 'all star game' .. We'll get absolutely pasted, but it'll be a good laugh.
St Helens, due to move out of their 120-year-old ground at the end of the season, desperately wanted to mark the occasion with a victory in front of a full house.... And Wigan were left celebrating inside the enemy camp for the first time since September 2003.
