1) Powell retained till end of season and under 20s coach next season
He'll see out his contract so the club doesn't have to pay him off and will go back to a role that he's done okay at in the past.

2) New fitness coach from Salford City Reds is working at the club now
Good. The team look slow and lethargic in games, especially in the second half of games.

3) Lease on Stoop not renewed for 2013 by London Broncos
Been said differently on here, will have to play it by here.

4) Caro offered contract at St Helens for 2013
Can't imagine this to be true. He reminds me of Kevin Penny a bit, not as much as Dixon does mind.

5) Gower and Bailey declined Head Coach partnership tandem role
Good. The club needs Gower to lead on the pitch and an experienced head to lead off the field.

6) Skolars, RFL and other hirers of Wood Green keen to redevelop New River
I imagine this is true. It does need a fair bit of investment. If the Skolars and Haringey RU (do they still play there?) can get grants from their governing bodies and Sport England than I'm all for it.

7) Broncos would need to cooperate if this is to become reality
No, stop there. I fear that Broncos moving to Tottenham would have a deterimental fact on the Skolars. There needs to be at least two strong London based sides in the Rugby League pyramid so I'd rather Broncos left Skolars to their own devises.

8. David Waite in frame to join London Broncos alongside the Penrith/St Helens former Head Coach Royce Simmons
This is what I mean, leave Gower to lead the troops on the field and two experienced heads in Waite and Simmons to lead the troops off the pitch.

9) Powell has had big dust up with Dorn who will leave if Powell stays
Dorn can go anyway.

10) Sarginson refusing to sign long term contract
Its inevitable that he will leave sooner or later, would like him to stay though.

Talking about rumours circulating, one that started very last night and now building is that there will be an overnight breaking story that Halifax will be promoted to Super League for 2013, who are they going to replace?

Are Bradford at the stage of not being able to continue in Super League?

Well the Halifax official website have joined in the fun, teasing? about this weekends home game and Chris Irvine was not my contact!

"We have over 200 people dining before the match, including very senior representatives from both the RFL and several of the top Super League Clubs. It would be to our advantage to be able to show these folks just what a great Match Day experience we have here at the Shay and a big crowd would equally impress them. It would be good for them to see just how Fax might add value to Super League. . . . . sometime in the future?"
