Why would Keith Galloway give up a representative career to come to England?

He hasn't got one? He's been overlooked for origin and I can't then see him getting picked for the national team in front of Shillington, Tamou, Hannant, Scott, Grant or Merrin. Plus they use Gallen at prop and Galloway didn't feature in the Anzac test match.

He's still under contract next year with Wests.
Do you still need to pay a transfer fee when signing from the NRL? (excuse my ignorance!)

It's mainly a case of the player negotiates a release from his final year, but in theory yes, Wests could demand a fee.

Played in SoO III last season and appeared in all four Australian Four Nations games.

It did say in Dave parkers column (I know he gets most his info of here ) a few weeks ago that when gentle went home for a week , he was confident he had captured the signing of a high profile prop from nrl .

Big red is mates with McKinnon so I doubt he'd be rushing anywhere over here soon.
