Well Burrow and Jones-Buchanan should be reasonably fresh given their limited game time yesterday. Doesn't sound like those on Knights duty needed to overexert themselves either. Still wouldn't have asked any of them to back up personally.

Yeah but just think of the selection headaches McDermott would have if too many of those play well.....he won't do it. :| Besides the 'senior' players with 'guaranteed' places regardless of how crap they play will not let him. :D

Seems I was right :( ....same old dreary faces again.... this time compounded by being also battered and knackered from a useless pathetic exhibition match.

Due to the fact of the England match we might be allowed the chance to make changes to the 19 for this particular game. I seem to remember a few players in the 19 announced for the Easter Monday match against London not being picked and a few extra players added come the actual match, i suspect that was allowed due to the short turn around in matches over that weekend.

Think you can only change the 19 if you have a sicknote off of doctor.

BTW .. If , as expressed in the early commentary , McB did delect the strongest squad available to him , and the one most likely to represent at the big comp , then why was there no Burgesses or Gaz Ellis etc ?

Injured.

That squad has a lot of forwards and not many backs, let's hope there is a bit more balance when the actual team in named.

Don`t worry about that he will have Ablett and Delaney in the centres and Sinfield at SO to balance it out.

So Lee Smith can't get into the squad when 10 players out on international duty and the first choice full back is out injured?
Let all the doubters keep doubting and those who believe keep believing.

We’re only interested in those in the bubble. Anyone who wants to come in the bubble, you can come in.

But you’ve got to keep believing.
