I was on about speed of thought and speed of his passing. He's pretty quick running.

You have seen something I haven't.

They did time trials and he was one of the quickest (could have been the fastest )

He could be the fastest in SL in TIME TRIALS but I have not seen evidence of this on the pitch in a real game. Not for us and he didn't show this tonight at any time.

I am hoping he can kick on next season if we do keep him. I remember Britt having a slow first season, and I think I can also remember a fair few people wanting him gone.
Tweet from @martinoffiah 23/08/2011: 'Must admit i did love watching Saints- Cunningham Joynt Longy Tommy then Leon, last classic RL team ever'. Even the dark side can't help but love the rebellion.

Denis Betts was an outstanding player (I don't get how anyone could think otherwise unless they only saw him later in his career when he had slowed down a bit) - similar to Joel Tomkins but better, fast and strong and hard.

Betts was World class as a second rower. He had speed and strength to burn. It's no coincidence that he was around when we won the 8. He won the Lance Todd and Man of steel for Gods sake ! I'm hard pushed to name an Ozzie that would have been better.

Similar to Hoffman but better. All round complete SR forward. Anyone who says otherwise couldn't have possibly seen him play.

Denis Betts was possibly the most complete second rower I have ever seen! Never hit the heights as much in his second stint but was still probably the best SR in super league when he came back frrom Auckland

We didnt have the problem of trying to fit Britt in to a postion as he wasa prop, we don't know where to play lance and IMO we are just picking him accomadate him.

If I was lee Gaskell I'd be wondering what the hell I've got to do to get a game when the guy playing in my postion has been so bad.

I thought Hohaia played ok for the Exiles. He wasn't world class but if he was he wouldn't be over here. Most of his passes were short ones but in that weather you can't expect anything different but I thought his defence was very good and he put in a few decent kicks one that was an inch off being a 40-20 and had it been fan favourite sir Lee Gaskell to put that kick in most fans would have been nursing a semi and demanding a contract extension for him.

Oh behave,Gaskell was dropped to take him out of the fireing line after all the stick he was takeing from the fans.
Lance Is poor, the fact that one of his plus points was that he didnt kick a 40-20 sums It up.
I've always thought of McGuire as a good player, and I wouldn't normally wish injury on any player, but there was a certain hint of poetic justice to that.

Another classic:
You forgot to take off the "Saints Reduction Factor" when calculating the ban.

Standard suspension / Saints Reduction Factor = Actual ban for Saints player.

Therefore (2 / 3) = 0.666

0.666 < 1 therefore actual ban equals "less than 1 match".

Therefore ZERO.
Give the girl her dummy back.

Gaskell was removed from the team because he isn't good enough! So you don't see someone being an inch of a 40-20 under pressure as a good kick? You prove my point though leaping to the defence of Gaskell! if it was him it would have been a good kick just because it's Gaskell. People have made their mind up that Hohaia isn't a favourite and that's it nothing he does from now until he leaves will ever be good enough.
