Cliques a plenty on here these days. If people's opinions do not conform to the majority they are abused. This forum used to have lively debate akin to that seen between a bunch of mates in the pub. If your not a left wing, beer swigging, Barton loving, spinning jenny attending, middle/old aged man who wears cherry & white glasses, then post on here at your peril.
Am I Rugby Leagues Adrian Durham?

I'm not left (or right) wing, prefer wine to beer, don't go in the Spinning Jenny, and wear Specsavers reactive lense glasses, but I do support TB and can be either classed as old, (probably the reality) or middle-aged. (my preference)

Can I still post?

So Alan, by your own words you are an old Wino who sits on the fence, with dodgy eyesight worshipping Trev.

Very honest of you ....................................... and rather harsh.

All gone down hill since Gav moved on lol  , anyone know how he's doing these days?.I can see what some are saying in that if your not one of the ones "in the clique" then how can you possibly contribute. Then there are the nudge nudge wink wink private jokes. As for Steve (starbug) not being on here at the moment , do yo blame him?. He had concerns at the direction parts of the organisation we love were going and got ripped to bits and accused of spitting his dummy out because things wern't going his way iirc. I know Steve & Linda and being involved as they are in our club gets them gets them so much more grief and hassle as opposed to thanks or reward and has always been that way. So i would say yes it is like a private club and it's not easy any more to join in or have contributions taken onboard and or discussed. But saying that it could be as a result of the board getting quieter rather than the cause imho.

Ah, but without indulging in some of these little hobbies, I would be all the poorer for not having met you! Mine's a glass of Merlot, next time.

Well I pop over here every now and again to see whats happening. In the past it was to see how our Wire DR's were getting on, but I still come over because I am interested in how you are getting on, and I enjoy the banter. I suppose I have become a bit of a closet Leyther as I look at the fixture list and follow your results. As I have said before, you are a passionate set of fans and that is great to see in RL. I have visited a lot, but not all Championship boards and web sites and I think your one definitely stands out. ( I like the Barrow Raiders reports of their matches as well).

So nil carborundum. There are no perfect boards. Enjoy your social community.

Luck against Batley, I am expecting you lot to stuff them !!

If you call a bunch of loyal fans who go to games home and away together then post on here a clique then you are right. I think that if you read threads where this "clique" have posted I think you wll find a lot of different views and opinions.

CaW as Alan states , i too am neither right wing nor Left , i never argue about Politics or Religion ,im teetotal have been for about 20 years now ,at 60 years old i suppose i am an Owd un  , my specs are a Gold colour though ,as for loving Trevor B  i take folk as i find them , Trevor has never done me any harm , he ALWAYS contributes to any fundraisers i ask him to do ,and as far as i know the man has only Leighs est interests at heart , you may know something i dont ?

Im not going to have a go at PR , as far as im concerned the lad is doing a grand job , away from Rugby ,he is also a grand lad,i go to the Pub every Sunday to have a chat with the lads ,and as YOU put it ,its a Lively debate between a bunch of mates ,deffo no clique,i have never had a go at anyone on this Forum over their opinions , though i personally wont discuss things that happen during the Game with anyone who doesnt attend the said Game ,NO POINT ,they didnt go .

Lastly we all want whats best for Leigh Centurions on here ,but listen to Cushler ,and Winslades Offload, they enjoy coming on here , are not part of any clique, neither am i , just like the Craic, lets all go to the LSV tomorrow and cheer the Leythers on to a step nearer Blackpool.
