St. Helens Programme Fayre & RL Memorabilia Auction

Saints’ Heritage Society in conjunction with the Original Supporters Club and the Rugby League Collectors Federation are holding at Programme Fayre and Rugby League Memorabilia Auction at St. Helens' new stadium, Langtree Park, on Saturday 9th June 2012.

Commencing at 10.00 am; old Programmes, Photographs, Badges, Collectors Cards, Annuals and other Rugby League Memorabilia will be both on sale and display.

Saints' Heritage Society will have a stall raising monies for the independent charitable trust, the 'Saints Community Development Foundation.'

The RLCF Auction that begins at 12.00 noon has the potential to be one of their best Auctions to date with 177 items going under the hammer. The highlights of the sale being, a programme from the first ever Challenge Cup Final played at Wembley in 1929, between Wigan and Dewsbury, a 1928 Australia v England match programme for the 3rd Test played at the Sydney Cricket Ground, a set of three scrapbooks covering the now defunct Broughton Rangers club during 1901-02, 1902-03 and 1903-04 seasons and a St. Helens "Sevens" programme from 1946. Admission is free of charge and adequate parking is available at the Stadium.
