Anyone at loose end tomorrow evening 2 of our Academy guys playing at Bradford in England V France Academy game K.O. 6-30pm.
Jon Ford for England & Theo Fages for France pitch team mates against each other. Club not doing too bad getting 2 academy players picked for international game.

Academy ladies are also playing same night & venue with a 4-30 pm k.o.

Would be good to get a bit of support for either or both games.

It is £150 on the door to help pay of Bradford's self inflicted debts.

England won 38 - 18.
Ryan Hampshire was given the man of the match (a superb 50 metre try and five goals, three from the touchline) but Connor Farrell was my pick. His work rate particularly defensively was outstanding and it was he who picked up a loose ball, beat two men and got out a superb pass to give Hampshire that bit of space that he needed.

Joe Ford had a mixed game, quite good with the ball but a bit poor defensively.

Theo Fages was one of Frances best players and created a very good try with a deft reverse kick.
SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS

For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.

For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.

Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row

According to the match report, that was not Fages but Joris Bissiere, who is arguably just as good a prospect.

Some might look at this as being harsh but I think it's fair. When are the Rugby League going to stop persisting with this fantasy expansion. If it hasn't worked by now, it never will! I'm all for reaching out to a wider audience with our game but not at the expense of historical clubs in the homelands.
