And Running a Rugby Club is easier than a pub/club.!!!

Running a successful rugby club is stupendously easy. It's so simple any small-minded, illiterate baffoon with a computer keyboard could do it. As proven here, daily.

You get a firm In,and for a large fee they tell you what you probably new or should of know in the first place.But by
doing it this way,It gives you the get out of jail card to say David it was nothing to do with me.I would be surprised
to see the chairman's daughter take the reins,I don't think he would not exspose her, in case of flack.Surely the
strategic revue has not told us get rid of the C.E.O and then everything will be fine, have they? Should all this have
been done before the move to Barton,is It to little to late?.Should the chairman tell us what the revue will do,or what is
its aim? or his it nothing to do with us?.

I find your posts much easier to read if i consider them poetry rather than prose.

Everything you need to know about Tarry and the way the club was being run is in the todays MEN with comments from John and from Dave Tarry. Tarry's comments about the club letting him go being the best thing that has happened to him have angered me greatly. He's never going to be able to steal a living like he has done at Salford in any other organisation. The man is a joke and I really wouldn't mind if he choked on his breakfast.

Erm, the chap has just been made redundant and was quoted as saying:

"Like a lot of businesses we had to reassess where we were going and it may well turn out to be the best thing that’s happened to me."

What is it that's insulted you so deeply? His optimism?

You wanted rid, you got your wish, cheer up!

Everything about the man offends and insults me, I take it you've not had the pleasure of sitting in meetings with him waffling on and patronising you? Telling you how everything's alright and we are marketing and not losing touch with the fans etc......Yet the consultants employed by John came in and it only took them a month to see what a joke the man is. The best thing this club has done in the last 30 years getting rid of him. The fans have been saying it for a long long time (with the exception of the doo gooders on here).

There's members on this board that most people will know and also long standing fans not on this forum that most people will know. They're all massive fans of the club and know exactly what he's like, but are too nice to say anything about him bad about him in public. I'm not.

NOT the first time someone has posted those people who disagree with him are doing good!

What do we have to do to do "bad"???
Sad preacher nailed upon the coloured door of time;
Insane teacher be there reminded of the rhyme.
There'll be no mutant enemy we shall certify;
Political ends, as sad remains, will die.

That sounds like your problem more than his...

So this is you in a good mood? What's Christmas like at yours?
'The fans' have probably questioned the capability of everyone at the club over the last few years, it was hardly a prophecy. I mean, is it now safe to congratulate Steve Simms on doing a great job - given the consultants haven't sounded him out?

As impressively brave as that is of you, it all seems a bit redundant now, don't you think? He appears to have moved on, you could learn a lot from him. :wink:

Maybe. But I'd have a problem with anyone who has nearly run my rugby club into the ground

I'm always in a good mood, apart from when Salford usually play. As for Christmas it's always pretty gloomy because our presents haven't arrived (Usually a season ticket and shirt :wink: )

The fans have questioned the capability of most people at the club because they've not been performing up to scratch. One of the main reasons for this is having a poor boss. Its like in any business if you have a poor boss then your won't perform to the best of you abilities because your getting paid anyway. If the boss was more demanding, pushed his staff and led by example then maybe they'd perform a little better?

As for Simms, I don't the think management consultants were there to have a look at the playing side of things that Simms is involved in were they?

This I agree with, he's gone now and good riddance. We just need to get the right people in now. Easier said than done I know!
