Yeah, I caught it. Phil basically said that he obviously wasn't happy with the Castleford performance and will have them back in training hard today. The most worrying thing he said was that he hasn't been given a budget for next years squad so he doesn't have anything to work with at the moment meaning he can't offer new contracts to people even though he's been in talks with a few players who are nearing the end. He also said as with regard to next season we'll have to see what drops out of other squads and pick up their fringe players. Given the resources Phil looks like he's going to have next season and the players available to him it looks like it could be yet another difficult season.

And to the Salford fan who text in and said it's the best Salford team you've seen 48 years......give me a break!!!!! :lol:

the text to gmr about the best salford team in 48 years missed the word academy out by the bimbo reading it out thats why he said alan hunt was doing a great job
