How nice would it be to get a positive decision on Newmarket Monday morning? Could you imagine the lift it would give the players as well fans going into the game.

May be a bit optimistic here but.

With our last few wins, Leeds presently lacking form and having a number of players back-up over 48 hours. And a couple of injuries, I expect a win.

In fact I think looking at the situation not to get a win would be disappointing for me.

Leeds are a dangerous side but with a number of the above things stacking up we should be targeting doing a job on them.

And that's where the problem starts I'm afraid.

Others have said similar to me, but we're playing a Leeds side packed with international quality players and, if they turn up, then we'll have a massive job on our hands to contain them.

The only thing we can be fairly confident of (and it hasn't always been the case this season) is that our players will turn up to play full of vim and vigour - the rest is kind of difficult to call and, should be play our part in a close and entertaining game, then we should be happy that we are at least competing with the WCC and SLC.

The only way we should come away disappointed is if we don't play well, whether we win, lose or draw, or get stuffed.

I think playing Leeds at this time is splendidly unpredictable, but they are getting backed up against the wall - and we of all clubs know the effect that that could have on a side.

Go; support; enjoy and hope, but it is somewhat foolish to expect the result rather than the performance IMO.

I agree with TRB.

Some of us are setting ourselves up for a fall expecting us to go to Headingley and beat Leeds.

We have a half decent chance admittedly but we dont want to be over confident.
Lets hope we pack the Western terrace and get behind the boys.
The Wakefield board 'Anti Cas Mod' apparently. Snigger.

I thought it was on sky but I was still going anyway. I have a feeling Mr Silverwood will do everything in his power to make Leeds win monday. I have a feeling we may get robbed.

Foolish or not it's my opinion that from the circumstances I would be disappointed if we don't claim the points. If the team goes to headingley and puts in 100% win or lose I will be happy with that.

The performance for me is different from the result. I can be happy with a win but not the performance. Happy with the performance but not a loss.

I will be there supporting a's I have for nearly 20 years now.

I also stated that it would be disappointing for me. If I set my own expectations to fall then so be it, I will deal with that should I be disappointed come Monday night.

If it was Leeds with no exiles and in-form Im
Sure my opinion would differ.

With 6 Rhinos in the England team to face the Exiles, we need to hope for a really tough game for them on Saturday and then we can play the other half of the Rhinos on Monday.
This should improve our chances greatly.

Come on Trin !

I am not going to say we should expect to win but Leeds have Carl Ablett, Ryan Hall, Kevin Sinfield, Jamie Peacock, Rob Burrow and Jamie Jones-Buchanan in the full squad to play the Exiles.
They also have Chris Clarkson, Zak Hardaker, Ben Jones-Bishop and Shaun Lunt in the Knights squad to face Ireland.

That is potentially 10 players who will be playing Saturday and then being asked to back up on Monday or will be missing from the Leeds lineup against us.

You would have to give us a good chance of beating them or at least being very competitive.

As I said, I won't go there expecting to win but I will go there expecting us to have a damn good go at them.
