I have heard rumours about another team our side of the Pennines (to play us soon) and Wigan's debt needs sorting soon.

But I'm sure both clubs will be bailed out.

Interestingly there's a "Salford City Reds Limited" registered under Companies House as well. Two familiar names as directors, too...

That was a woman called Trish and this is a woman called Tina. Pretty sure they are different people.

That's like saying we shouldn't employ anyone with a tash because the last occupant of the job had a tash and he was terrible.

yes they are different just pointing out that under a woman the club were doing a better job, your second statement makes no sense, nor does it relate to my original posting.

hardly her fault how many pubs and clubs in Salford have gone to the wall in the last couple of years because people don't go out as much these days.

The point being that just because a woman did a good job last time, it doesn't mean another woman would automatically do a good job this time. Gender means nothing, nor does any distinguishing physical feature of a human being, hence Walshy's point about people with a tash.

The optimum place to advertise in a pub these days is on top of the toliet basins.

I'd be more wary about nepotism replacing cronyism.

Yep, and the bar workers themselves look like little billboards these days.
