How can Wigan afford all these players, surely they must be breaching the salary cap?

Come on, that's poor by your standards!

I am worried the club would accept the £350k. But i wouldn't. I would hold out for the Half a million.

The worry around the club, Is that we sell Chase, And none of the money will go back into the squad.

You will certainly get your wish in that case. No-one on Earth would even come close to paying that. I doubt they'll even come close to paying 350K.

Chase will then see out his contract at Cas, probably making no effort at all, and all that money you'll be paying him will be wasted. You'll probably finish up a couple of hundred grand down when you could have been a couple of hundred grand up - and you'll still have a new stadium to find.

Chase would be great, he creates space with no real options around him with the team he's in now. He knows how to play the game, I'm sure he will play however he's asked to. I he's in a team like ours with runners and options and the opposition knows hes capable of making a break it creates even more doubt and space for the guys hitting the gaps as they're worried about him going alone.

I'm beginning to think the trolls are running out of steam.

Things are going so well at Wigan under IL, there's no Mo to poke fun at, just a guy quietly going about his business of restoring Wigan to the top of RL and building a new golden era of success for the greatest club in the game; they thought the "Ape" would be an easy target - that backfired spectacularly; we've had an injury and suspension crisis that has done nothing except reveal that we are likely to have the strongest pack in SL for years to come; DW actually accommodated our cup game against Stains; we have the best British player since Hanley, the most exciting forward in SL and the best half back combination in SL...

It's all looking really grim for the Wigan haters. No wonder even their trolling is a bit half-hearted.

I'm lovin' it! What a great time to be a Wigan fan!

IMO, Sculthorpe at his peak was better than Hanley was at his.

I have been highly critical of Rangi's thuggish behavior and inclusion in the England squad but I really do believe with a full pre season at Wigan and continued coaching with Harris and Wane he could be a devastating play maker at our team.

He would be a great signing. He always seems to have plenty of time to decide what to do when in possession. He will bring speed to the half-backs.

I'm not sure if he just looks good because of his surroundings. Not wanting to do cas down but they're not as good as Wigan and I'm not sure if In a Wigan side he would look distinctly average.

My brother was in Australia recently and saw Peter Sterling in a charity 7's game. He said he still looked class. Maybe he could do a turn. Although, he's not English, not like Rangi.

The reason why you should stay and Wakefield should lose their license.

You fulfill the role of actually producing young talented (although flawed) players. Wakefield just leech off everyone else.

Surely thats abit unfair? Wakefield have produced a fair amount of good players still playing in superleague at the moment at bigger clubs. On top of that there would be pleanty of clubs that would get kicked out before us if your going on player production.
