Latest news in brief (and if my understanding is correct !)

The review of their finances has shown they need a further £1.2 million to end of year to survive.

To fend off the Revenue, Bradford have stated their intention of applying for administration.

This gives them 2 weeks to find a benefactor or funding for the £1.2 million. If they manage this, they can withdraw from administration.

So it looks as though the new board is finding it more difficult than they thought to get the money in. In which case I suppose it is still possible that they may sell players, eg Bateman.

By filing a notice of intention to appoint administrators, it gives them more time to find investors.

All very sad.

Bradford were only strong when they lived beyond their means like Widnes did ! So why does SL need Bradford ? I hope they survive but they have no god given right to stay in SL same as Rangers in the SPL it should go to a Club vote if RFL have no balls !
I still wonder how London Broncos spend near salary cap on crowds of just over 2 k will they be next ?

Any team getting into financial difficulties is bad for rugby league.
padders how do you know london spend near the salary cap???
i can find no evidence to back this statement up, please prove me wrong but i suspect they are nowhere near (reflected by their on field performance)
