I am worried the club would accept the £350k. But i wouldn't. I would hold out for the Half a million.

The worry around the club, Is that we sell Chase, And none of the money will go back into the squad.

Poor mans Tommy but still probably one of the top 5 half backs in the league. Best realistic option available to us so get it done I say. My only fear would be is he too ball gready and is he enough of a team player, but certainly has it individually.

Union people are idiots. They almost universally accept that league is a better, faster game played by better athletes, yet for some reason they continue to disregard and belittle it. That game is tedious as hell from start to finish. If he'd ever played or even bothered to give more than a fleeting chance to league he would realise that the game is far more 'technical' than Union ever could be. Booting the ball into touch, scrummaging and forming rucks and mauls aren't areas that involve any skill, technique or mental capacity whatsoever. These are clumsy, outdated facets of the game that are also extremely uninteresting to watch and thus have to be defended in some way by people who are too prejudiced to see the truth.

If I were Cas i'd be asking as much for Clark as I would for Chase tbh. He's younger, he's also English just like Ronald Chase and has massive potential.

A super young player.

Clarke is the one I'd pay for - even though I like Logan Tomkins.

He's going to be a star.

always the story with Cas though, we produce some of the best young players in the league and we let them go, saddens me

The reason why you should stay and Wakefield should lose their license.

You fulfill the role of actually producing young talented (although flawed) players. Wakefield just leech off everyone else.

but we dont need a hooker....we need halves.

Chase was excellent last year, but been anonymous this year, possibly down to Basil ???
Maybe hes sulking for a move?

I would be tempted to take the risk, but only if he was on a free....no way would i pay a fee.

How can Wigan afford all these players, surely they must be breaching the salary cap?
