Name,Names Sal i Wanna see your slant on bad Signings!!

Like a few have said before a lot of them wasnt bad sighnings, but some coaches played them in a different posistion than the posistion they had become accustomened to..

Like Gary Hulse was never a full back..
John Wilshire was never a winger..
Andy Brachek was never a centre..
Looking forward to the future......

not livin in the past...

I reckon of my time watching Warrington the era 1995-1998 would have to go down as our prime era for making bad signings. We seemed to have a scattergun approach for signing players, a load of them were duds.

We've made bad signings before and since but nothing compares to that era for the volume of them.

Sal, 1995-98 can easily be surpassed by the 2002 season, when we not only signed poor players, we also played the few good players we had out of position. Our worst ever signing had to be Steve Anderson as coach, who nearly destroyed the club. Matt Sturm on a 4 year contract was one of the most baffling, but Tommy O'Reilly, Matt Rodwell, Dale Laughton, Dale Cardoza and many more, made 2002 a classic season for crap signings.

Doug Hoyle.

And whoever said Danny Lima behave yourself.

Danny was one bright spark in a pretty dreadful new stadium/cullen era. He wasnt the best but he gave his all and thats all you can ask.

You should behave yourself with your Doug Hoyle comment. He was very useful to the club at certain very difficult times.
