After reading through all of these posts I'm ready to give my impartial view and choose a worthy winner.

Any coach that can take a team from 4th to bottom within 2 seasons has to be the worst SL coach ever

Take a bow Kevin Walters.

Peter Walsh for Hull FC (or Sharks at the time) was pretty poor, although he didn't have a squad to compete really. He was head coach for our first season in 1998 and half of 99

Played - 32
Won - 8
Lost 24

Points Scored - 529
Conceded - 813

He lost the first 9 games of the 99 season which cost him his job. There was no dramatic improvement and we finished 2nd bottom. But the thing that sticks in FC fans throats with Walsh is Hull replaced Phil Sigsworth who clearly wanted to have a crack at Super League having taken us up but was overlooked for a suposedly better coach. Would rather have given Siggy a crack.
