Believe wolves want to extend his contract , but weve put a big offer to him to end his career with us i believe if it happens will be a big coup for us been Quality for many years and possibly last big pay day ! I believe we need Lees experiance to lead from the middle of the park !Any thoughts!
I find myself conflicted. Hes Wire, he couldnt look anymore like a untrustworthy scrot if he tried, and his constant crying at refs offends me. That being said, he is class and hes still going strong, so why not get him in for a couple of years. it would certainly be a good move for us!

You seem suicidal because McNamara hasn't picked your precious Mickey Mac, who's better than Roby, and Darryl 'Meninga' Goulding who makes Jamie Lyon look like an amateur.
Honestly? Not for me. Still class but getting on and he wouldn't have all the time he gets at Wire and players around him to do most of the hard work. Would be paying way OTT for what we be getting in return IMHO.

Totally agree and think new recruits would have to work off Briers /Brown and tougher pack , as you said Briers first years at warrington was in mediocre teams and Lee given plenty of time over recent years shows his class
He carried wire for years when they were at Wilders(poo), Of course it helps having a beefy pack behind you and I don't think we'll have any problems with that next season. Gutted he never got a crack at the Australians for Great Britain.
He may be getting on but that rugby brain is still ticking over nicely.

I genuinely see him turning us down to stay with Warrington and to take up a coaching role there in the next year or two.
Having said that I would genuinely welcome his signing. As has been said before he isn't the player he was two or three seasons back but he has the guile and craft to be an asset to a side such as ours next year. He would surely have more than just a playing role if he came.
To be honest we need to spend on some big mobile props even though Ben Davies,Pickers, and Cross try hard.Cahill has been playing front row too, but if get two big props then Cahill can go back to the Secondrow.A good centre like Hodges as near 30 now so may get a few yrs contract with us.Suppose to be signing a few from Australia i heard but nothing concrete.
