NRC quarter final, this Friday at DVS, 7.30 ko.

I know this competition is ridiculed from certain quarters, but we've never made the semis before and we'll never probably have a better opportunity than this. If we can get to the final it's a day out in Blackpool and some money in the coffers, so I for one hope we go for it, play a full strength side and ensure progression.

Eagles 42-10 Hunslet.

Attendance: 350 (England game)

I agree ESO - a strong Eagles side should be able to get past Hunslet.

Friday is forecast to be wet and our record hasn't been good this season when it's rained heavily.

Eagles to win by 24 ish so perhaps 32 - 8

Crowd to be low because England are playing and it's not part of the season ticket package - around 500

This no french fancy cup,Got to be treated like a league game and the strongest team needs to be played,A competition in which we should be looking to get to the final,I think if we are focussed this should be a convincing win,Hunslet have only got 5 points or so in the league,Theyve got that for a reason and were at home.Without the england game being on it would have been nice to be included in the season ticket package,With the england game on it's basically killed the attendance. It's the result that matters though.

Eagles 42 Hunslet 10 :UMB:

Attendance will be announced at 600 But probably nomore than 350.If it is Hunslet who have insisted it being on this day,Then they need to give there head a good shake. Is it a shared gate?,Hence the reason Hunslet won't like it being included in the s/ticket package. :DEPRESSED:

Yes, shared gate. We certainly won't be making money from it.

Presumably there's summat else on at the stadium on Sunday. Hunslet can't insist on it being specifically Friday.

Fortunately, there are no other major counterattractions ......

If any impromptu cheers come from a fat lad with a laptop in the top corner, don't worry yourselves, England have just scored.
