These games are not clear cut, each team has their moment where they get on top and look to be in the ascendancy only to see the game ebb and flow from one critical play or mistake.
Both teams had their moments tonight where they seemed in charge.

Gallen is a machine, Carney did a lot better than last game but needs to kick goals better, Civ is past it, Qld had several player hobbling from early on.

Too many shots around the neck and hands on faces getting up from the play the ball.

A dry hard track will be a totally different game where NSW will hope to unleash their speed merchants in Jennings, Hayne and Uate. Qld will hope to do similar but with more structure through their backline rather than broken field ad hoc running.

Great game to watch, especially cheering on the Blues in a room of Queenslanders, he third NSW try should have been pulled for the knock on in the build up for mine though

Roll on Game 3!

is it just me or is state of origin just reffed totally different? for example plenty of high shots, alot of time messing around in the ruck and alot of offsides.

if that game was played at normal speed robbie fahara wouldn't of made all them tackles he would be in hospital now.

all the untouchable aussies showed they are only human aswell today none more so than billy slater, im not having an injury means you make poor passes and knock on.

and uate is nowhere near close to being the best winger in the world.

it was a good game if there was a middle from superleague ruck speed and state of origin then it would be such a better game all round.

The intensity and ferocity of that first 40 was amazing.

But hey, lets watch slow second rate rugby with some awful defending where some nice gaps will open up around the ruck for a few tries, thats entertainment!

Think it's the first time but I agree with all you say there!

A lot more errors than usual in Origin, but when it got going it was an entertaining affair. I normally go for Queensland but i'm glad to see it undecided going into the 3rd game!

Great game.
Fantastic defensive effort by Robbie Farah and Luke Lewis sure does know how to stick his shoulder in. I would love to see him playing for Hull.

Mate, for God's sake take up following another sport.

If you didn't like that game then rugby league's not the one for you.
