Cheers IA,
Can I ask 1 question, what is the biiger picture here with CT Nestle and the Hickson site all working together now. Can anyone reveal the end game ??
In respect of them all pushing for this condition to be inserted into the LDF, then they all did it to keep their own site options open, for obvious reason.
I a bit out of the loop now as I am working in a fairly niche sector at the moment, but I still understand that a potential and quite complicated deal involving Opus, Tesco, Nestle, Persimmon and Cas Tigers is still in the offing.

Imagine the look on the collective faces of the folk at the RFL when Wakey & Cas are both in shiny new stadiums getting 10k week in week out
I'll have a to that !
I think Wakey are nearly there now - we need CT to really push on with this now and the scenario above could be a reality. Many people said there would never be 2 SL standard stadia within 3 junctions of the M62 - lets prove them wrong.

IA - That would be Opus as the developer, Tesco as the buyer, Nestle and Cas Tigers as selling the land but where do Persimmon come into it ? Also where do Waystone sit in the mix ?

Tesco possibly want to go on the Nestle site with their new store and a deal is being brokered for Opus to tie the whole thing up in one big deal with both sites being developed and the actual WR ground site being used for housing, as planned previously, as part of a bigger mixed use development.

Just one other quick point, that might be worth putting on the 'other Forum'. I understand that WMDC are working very hard on Cas's behalf to ensure that they get as much as they can from the deal for Cas so they can build GH.
WMDC haven't favoured either club and just because you don't necessarily see the hard work they are doing for the club, doesn't mean they are not doing it!
