Willie Manu has to be one of the biggest losses to the FC player roster in recent years.

Would just be interesting to see who other posters felt were also big losses to the team over the years, go back as far as you want but only include players who decided to leave us rather than by mutual or Hull's decision.

As I have been following them since Tony Gordons last season I would say some of the players I was most gutted to see leave were:

Tevita Vaikona (may have been mutual, can't remember)
Colin Best
Toe Koe Love
Garreth Carvell
Paul Cooke
Brian Carney

I know they where both at the end of their career, but I was gutted to see Swain and Fitzgibbon leave! Absolute legends of the game!

Its all about money now, loyalty and playing for your home town club has gone.
There is loyalty from the supporters but not from the players anymore.
theres only one knocker norton
WakeyManDan8

Richard Swain
Richie Barnett
Colin Best

I used to love watching them in the Hull colours, particularly Swain.

I think it was the right time for Fitz to go. At the time I was not gutted to see Swain go, He has no doubt been our best Hooker in my time watching Hull but at the time he left we had Berrigan coming in who was hugely exiting, in hindsight Swain was the better player for us.

I think both these are player Hull chose to leave, I was more interested in what players over the years have chose to leave us as they felt they were moving onto better things.

wasn't bothered about any of those three.
I am paying Johnny Whiteley 0.000001p per decade to use his image, he's fine with it.

Not entirely true, Horne, Radford, Yeamo and Whiting have all had recent/are due testimonials, that's dedication to one club.

(Admittedly Radford spent some at Bradford which undermines my point a little!)

in honesty, how many opportunities have any of those had to move on for better money, we'll never know.

Point taken, I'd like to think they did and turned it down but your right, we'll never know.

Yeamo must have had interest, especially circa 2006 when he made the dream team.
