Good news well done Wakefield and good luck to our Sister club Northampton Rebels :thumb:

"Quote" But perhaps most impressive is another bumper Wildcats home crowd – 9,237 for a Saturday TV game in the cold and wet is a fine effort from one of Super League’s most progressive clubs "Gareth Walker the Mirror"

I really hope it takes off for many reasons. From a selfish point of view, hopefully our affiliation will help us dual reg some of our up and coming players, benefiting both clubs. I am also a rabid expansionist so hopefully could be the start of a proper southern RL club.

Would dual reg work with a team so far away though?

Shame they didn't have this set up when I was at Uni down there, I'd have gone to a few games. IIRC it was only in my last year that they set up a Uni RL team (2000/2001)! I played a few times for that lot.

South of Birmingham, next door to Milton Keynes - that's southern in my book! :thumb:
