Definitely not up to Wigan standards. No quick enough, defence is not great, and work rate not as good as we have now. Good kicker, but I'd give the lads in the academy a bash first.

Foster could potentially thrive in our system after a few months of training but his only plus point over Gelling is his goal kicking

but

we already have 2 players with daft haircuts in Locky and luauaaauuki so we dont need another one

No thanks not good enough for us he's more interested in his hair

It's funny how saints fans said he was better than Charnley last season
Great game of rugby league. Fantastic atmosphere, Wigan were breathtaking and dominant in all areas for the first 25 minutes, coupled with us making alot of dumb mistakes, then fortunately they brought McIlorum on which helped us back into the game. I thought some of the tries we scored to get us within two we're out of this world stuff. Towards the end we had to force it a little and we had a few things go wrong, i.e Monas kick on the first for King and Solomona going off who was causing havoc. Wigan were clinical in their eventual execution of us. Proud of Wire today and gave us a little glimpse to the future. Silverwood was awful as per, but I expect no less. Tomkins is a world class player and by far the best english player in SL. Wigan are a champion side and would be a worthy winner of taking our title as challenge cup. Good luck over the next month and a bit.
I actually rate him as an attacking player. His goalkicking isn't bad either. :)
However, one of the poorest wing defences in SL, and solely on that basis , certainly not for Wiggin.

Would you sign him as cover for either wing next season. I know he isn't the best in defence but his pace could do some damage with our style of play. It looks increasingly like his time is up at Saints and we all know who he really wants to play for. Would surely be a better option than throwing Gelling out to the wing.

Reading some of his tweets lately I think the lad needs looking after , never been a fan of him on or off the field but saints should take him off twitter and look after him 1 way or the other . He's only a young lad and reading his tweets he s losing it some times . I couldn't see Wigan letting our young lads tweet like him . Even rads has said he s had words with some of the lads if they get to carried away on twitter

I can't quite understand this. If Wigan want a winger then we've got Ryan King, Jack Murphy or Joe Burgess. Why would we sign someone who can't get a game for another club due to poor defence?

I want tough players with a never say die attitude. He doesn't fit the bill.
Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-
Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know
