Very good move. The longer we keep Luke the better!

Hopefully the success that Fax will have over the next few months will make his mind up that Fax is the place to be, and all young asspiring rugby players will look at Luke as proof that coming to Fax is a good move for your career.

We have been in the shadows of the more 'Wealthy' SL clubs for too long.

Good to see and think its a good sign when SL quality Halifax lads like Luke and Sam are deciding to play with us and not play for a lower SL club who offer very little. Least with Fax they have a chance to win something, pick up regular winning pay and playing for your home town team is something special as can be seen with the way Sam, Luke, James amongst others put the extra effort in on and off the field and have turned down offers from elsewhere. As a fan you cant really ask much more from our local lads. Hopefully some more talented homegrown lads playing elsewhere will come back either to the U23s or first team. I know a number like MMs son have come back from Bradford or other SL academys to join the Fax. Its up to all of us to keep backing these lads both on match days but also with helping putting extra money in to the club in anyway we can.

Take a look at the Summer Bash thread , there is plenty of ways you can help out even if you cannot make it to the do as we are looking for raffle prizes for the evening. But it would be nice to see a few of you from the message board supporting and you don`t have to take a full table, smaller numbers will do nicely.
YOU CAN LEARN FROM THE PAST BUT NOT RELIVE IT.YOU CAN HOPE FOR THE FUTURE BUT CAN NEVER BE SURE THERE WILL BE ONE.

Good lad turning up in a suit. Nothing wrong with a bit of proffesionalism in an organisation that has lacked a bit of it over the years.
