Why would you think Saints can't afford him?

Was always about money, since we signed Ellis. Fair play to him, he owes us nothing.

It makes you wonder just how much his contract is worth considering Saints are not known for giving 30+ year olds more than one year deals.

Sorry to say it but if iwas a professional rugby league player who'd never won a thing and had the chance to choose a team who had the better chance from Saints or FC id choose Saints

He's clearly not buying into what AP's has said about the club and our future, he signed a deal with us prior when was a lot worse than we are now.

Saints are not exactly flying.

Or else Saints are paying him more than we offered.

The fact that he was rumoured to be thinking about signing for Wakefield, shows the reason he has moved.

Well Wakefield offered him a contract so clearly he thought about it but no way was he ever going to sign for them no matter what they said at their fans forum.

Manu probaby realises it'll be a couple of years before Hull are challenging for trophies and he sees a better chance at Saints in the next two seasons.

If trophies were so important to him, I think he would have left when he was in his prime and we were a load of sh¡t. He's gone for the money, but I suppose he can't really say that.
