When Pearson took over, he said the advantage RL had over football was the relative low transfer fees (not that there are many nowadays). Maybe the fee for Chase won't scare him off.
The biggest thing we are missing is that one good youngster each year, just one, that becomes a first team regular. Makes recruitment so much easier and more focussed. Sadly in the last 3 seasons, we have had none. Hence why we appear to require almost half a team.

Spot on. We reallly are playing catch up for the inadequacies of the last regime.

Then we should keep signings for only key members and promote the youngsters as cover.
Lyne Briscoe Jack Crooks* Lineham Bowden Cunningham James Pitts Green* Kent
McKinnon Sharp Martin Turner Cunningham Liam Nicklas Ellis O'Meley Moa Aspinwall Manu Burnett Pearce Brown
I've posted this before, we've got plenty of room on the cap to sign 3 quality additions. We also need to sign a back up half's and a back up full back if the staff don't believe Lyne, Nicklas, Ellis (he's gone anyway) can do it.
