A thoughtful post - apart from the 'maybe Kirke leaves' which seems fairly unlikely to me given his recent contract extension, versatility and seeming preparedness to accept a squad/back-up role.

Was at the shay tonight and thought Luke had a good game, made good yards, plenty of carries and looked up for it, one knock on from what I can remember.

Hard to say i thought he did well at Fax last night and at times he looked decent when given a run but for me i'd take Singleton AND Amor before him.

Yep looks like we've seen the alst of Ambler i just hope the re-signing of Kylie and JP doesn't cost us D.Smith and Singleton.

The initial signings of our other over 30's props (Griff/Moore) won't help their chances either.

Depressing. Amor will be the next to go for good.

So much was GH's proclamation.

Singleton and D.Smith won't be far behind.

lets remember GH signed Amor and Amber and put them at the coaches disposal. If the coach had been selecting them, they would have still been here. This coach and the last, for whatever reasons, would not select them ahead of the incumbent so they have moved on, on loan for the time being.
Every player in our squad could probably earn more money with another club. But they prefer to sacrifice a few extra quid in their back pocket to share special memories. And playing at a place like Old Trafford on a night like this makes it all worthwhile.

Luke has been very impressive and has in virtually every game shown his class and really I think is way too good for Championship rugby. But if Leeds think he is not good enough then thats OK and I am sure Luke will be happy enough to play for his hometown club. Sam Barlow is another Halifax lad that has had Hull KR amongst other SL clubs chasing him and has said "No". Its good for the championship clubs to see some SL quality players playing at that level and there are no real easy games as can be seen by the tightness of the championship bar York and Hunslet.
