Difficult for the lad to come in to 1st team and play brilliantly straight away, but i have to say did he forget to put some studs in his boots i cant ever recall watching a player slip and slide so often. Its so frustrating watching this Salford team i think we got some good players and we are a decent side but we just seem to find ways to lose matches. I am so gutted we lost today would have been good to have a week off with a 4 game unbeaten run under there belts but now its all doom and gloom again!! Typical Salford.

Marc Sneyd was not up to speed today in the first half.

There's a bit of a differance playing in the Under 20s and in Super League and I feel he needs more game time in the first team to prove his worth.

You can't fault his goal kicks and I'm sure in time when our coach gives him the nod of a regular place in the starting line-up at scrum-half he will come good.

And yes your spot on 'choc' a change of boots was needed in the first half for sure.

Only trained on Friday after being out injured and still not fully fit.
He did well to even get on the pitch never mind last 80 minutes.
A lot of other players need to seriously look at themselves after that debacle.

typical salford. Blame the youngest player on the pitch and then wonder why we don't produce players..

He was very very poor in the first half, but still no excuses. If you can't tackle Danny Orr at 157 years of age you don't deserve to win a north west counties game never mind a super league game!!!!

Firstly I think it's Marc Sneyd ,
Nerves got to him early 1st half , 2nd half was more settled involved in more passing moves , one which led to Joel Moons try , he also kicked 5 from 5 including a couple from the touchline. we are lucky to get 3 from 5 with Holdsworth
shame for the lad to be singled out for his errors when the completion rate for the whole squad was criminal. we couldn't control the game for 8 minutes to close out the game.

He did look very nervous in the first half, particularly. However, he'll come good and the experience will be invaluable. His excellent kicking certainly betrayed the nerves he was clearly suffering from.

However, if ever there was a game for Wigan's incumbent number 7 to step up and show what we are going to be missing, this was it...
