Are people seriously putting Tomkins above Slater - real, I mean really

Ryan Hall being anywhere near one of these lists is even more laughable

If you want to fit all the best players in the team then I reckon Slater on the wing and Tomkins at FB would be the best option.

1. Tomkins

2. Uate
3. Inglis
4. Hodges
5. Slater

6. Marshall
7. Thurston

8. Scott
9. Smith
10. Burgess

11. Thaiday
12. Hock
13. Gallen

Roby - Impact
Williams - Impact
Taylor - Impact
Moi Moi - Impact
Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-
Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know

The same Ryan Hall who was actually selected in the last world 13?

Oh and how can anybody seriously pick anyone else apart from Slater at full back?

I agree Slater is a better FB than Tomkins. He is looking amazing this year in a much tougher comp. But in a world 13 you would want the best players. Slater would be better than the majority of wingers IMO so why not have the two form players in world rugby both in the team?

There're several excellent wingers in the world so why not play one of them on the wing and one of the best full backs of all time at full back instead (I'm talking about Slater btw)?

I noticed you also had Hock and Moi Moi in your team. Pure gold!

Hock isn't really a debate. He is currently the most devastating backrower in the world.

Moi Moi is a strange one but I wanted to pick the 4 best impact players I could think of. There are too many good props to pick one for the bench so I just went for the one who offers the most impact.

Jamie Lyon would be nowhere near this team.

Nor would moi moi, darius Boyd and Ryan hall based on form this year!
Its time for a change! We need to get rid of the idiots running the RLIF before they damage the sport beyond repair!

Go the Tigers, Blues and Roos!
