Such a frustrating player to watch, I find myself willing him to do that little bit more because when on form (2010) he really is a cracking player. The problem is he hasnt been in form for 2 years so how long do we wait before replacing him? If he plays well for whoever he moves to then its a shame but I just cant see him doing it whilst still with us.
Under Morgan i thought maybe the gameplan didnt suit him with us not really offloading which is one of his strengths, which is why I expected him to improve this year under Sandy. All in all probably just best to get rid, if anyone ever looked like they need a fresh start its him
'Call me Helen Keller cos im a f***ing miracle worker!'
'Listen, Lloyd, I want you to put all my files, folders, binders, *everything* into a box! If you find a used condom, an executioner’s mask, and a f***ing spike paddle, don’t think, just pack that bitch! Chop suey!'
'You can have it if you want to live in Agora f***ing hills, and go to group therapy, but if you want a Beverly Hills mansion, a country club membership, and nine weeks a year in a Tuscan villa, then I’m gonna need to take a call when it comes in at noon on a motherf***ing Wednesday!'
'That was a good speech, Lloyd. If I was 25 and liked c*ck, we could be something.'
'F**k the phones, Lloyd! Unless Carmen Electra calls for an emergency t*tty-f**k, don’t answer!'
He wants to stay but says its obvious he's not in Craig's plans so it's time to move on
We're half way through the season, he was in the side at the beggining of the year and didn't perform, in fact gave away a tonne of penalties so he was rightly dropped.
Knuckle down in training and get yourself back in the team, or alternatively, cry like a big baby and go off in a strop.
Don't let the door hit you on the backside on your way out Liam.
'Time has come to air the voice of reason, in a world gone mad, adrift on banal seas, for all who feel that lies have had their season and whose hearts cry out instead for honesty. For all the weary souls grown bored with dreaming, this thirst for beauty and for knowledge goes unslacked. For all who want to wake from what is dreaming to know what's real and what is real to embrace. For all who've watched with mounting horror, evil's rein upon this world grow ever clear, for all who've prayed in vain, emancipators, wielding swords of truth and laughing without fear...naaaaaaa'

he has turned out to be a penalty machine should be a big loss but isnt on the form of the last season and half
einstien said insanity is when a person does the same thing over and over again but expects a different result
He seems very typical of a lot of players who are from Cas, show lots of potential but the attitude / application is wrong. As Sandra says he was rightly dropped, complete penalty machine and wasn't learning from his mistakes, obviously doesn't want to knuckle down so it makes sense to get him off the wage bill for next year. I'd like to think we could hold out for a fee but maybe this cap / budget is needed to either tie up a signing or go towards a contract improvement for someone like Taylor.
It would make sense for him to be looking towards FC, minimal travelling and it would reunite him with a few of his ex-cas mates (Westerman and Arundal)
Either way, I would hope its the last time he plays for us, even if injuries kick in I would rather play a someone else rather than give him game time now.

So what you are saying Paul is that London paid up his Rovers contract then paid him a wage until the end of the season?
In a roundabout way yes. Rovers where well within their rights to seek compensation but instead a severance payment was negotiated (between Rovers and Scott) which the Broncos paid. Because of the nature of the arrangement the settlement tends to be a nominal sum, Scott will have then negotiated a contract with the Broncos.
In the case of Liam Watts. Even though he has been given permission to talk to other clubs he is still under contract. Rovers can still demand a fee for him. Liam can still expect to receive a settlement if he leaves before his contract expires.
Lets not forget though, Liam might do a Mills and sit out his contract if it isn't matched (or bettered) by another club.
Depends what his wage is like, and whether there is any competition for his signature.
Lots of talent - it really should feel like a big blow... but it doesn't. Probably best all around. It'll be interesting to see who comes in for him.
There is sure to be interest already. What (for example) would be the difference compared to Jay Pitts move to Hull? If someone wants him, its a crime to rip up his contract and see nothing for the investment the club has made and not seen a return on it.

It's not like I don't want a fee, but on the other hand it's unlikely to be a big one. There might be an argument for getting him off the wage bill ASAP and knowing where we stand for next year rather than holding out for a deal. Depends how keen we are to see him move on.
Lovegrove and Murrell should be keepers now, IMO.

I'd replace him in the 1st team squad with James Green with immediate effect. It appears our Liam has been taking dummy spitting lessons off tommyfromhull.
