It's not just his passing, it's his timing into the line, he never seems to get to the ball when he's meant too.

Another thing I noticed about him yesterday was that he spends most of his time in attack around dummy half, there were three or four times when we were on their line and Houghton had to shove him out the way to take control, when he should have been in a position to join the line.

Great on effort, poor on ability.

poop's himself on high balls, poor positioning on defence, slow on up take when joining the attacking line.

will make a far better hooker if he can tighten his defence.

unfortunatly this lad wont make a good full back gud quick hands though and is evasive maybe a half back in the making for wigan because tomkins is set for fullback for the forseable future

There are the options of recalling Russell, recalling Mellor or moving O'Loughlin to stand off. Hopefully it's one of the latter two.
