We needed to talk about something this Manu announcement is the most unannounced announcement ever. I'll give myself a warning for derailing.

Although I did find the brief history of communism quite entertaining as an interlude.

It seams on Redvee they are talking about a NZ prop who maybe being lined up. Could explain Pete's statement about Manu being put on ice, although a NZ prop would not effect Manu in terms of quota players it may impact salary wise.

But then to get a NZ prop we would have to have a firm commitment from a player that they want out of their contract.

Has Manu's signing being announced yet? The Rhinos were also interested in getting him for 2013 but it's all gone quiet. Is he still going to Saints or have your plans changed?

If Manu saw the games at the weekend then I don't think it's too tough a choice... :-)

But the question is does Brown want him????

I've heard Manu has already signed his contract and picked out his house and the NZ prop we are chasing is Ukuma Ta'ai but now looks unlikely to happen as a few NRL clubs are also in for him.

So who is leaving if we're making offers to non-exempt NZ players?

Anyone slightly worried about the delay in announcing Turner & Manu? Saints have a history of failing to tie up 'done deals'.

As a Rhinos supporter there are rumours that Gary H at the 11th hour signed up Manu but don't know how true the rumour is? I hope so as Manu is the best second row in Super League!

Hazarding a guess, it will be one of Laffranchi, Hohaia and Perry.
