I thought it was a rather unconvincing display today, with the exception of the first 30 mins of the second half. Someone must tell the players that a fame lasts for 80 minutes.

That said a win is a win and I'll take the score every week.

Well done Fax but we allowed them to get a couple of tries back. Points difference could be important and with Fev winning 60-18 and Batley also putting 50+ past Hunslet. Need to be ruthless and play for 80 plus minutes not just for 50 or 60 minutes.

You were the better team and deserved the win.

We were uncharacteristically poor in defence, made way too many errors and our kicking game both out of hand and at goal was not good enough for this level.

Surprised the 'try count' ended up so close, because for me 'Fax were by far and away the better side. Considering the experience in the Keighley team, they played some really dumb stuff at times and got killed by their inability to wrap the ball up in the tackle.

Wasn't expecting that outcome at half time, the first half for both teams just consisted of sloppy attack and strong defence but the second half was the complete opposite and luckily we pulled away! I'd love for us to meet Keighley again at some point and I hope they go on well in the season, very good side when they get going.

Concerning our half-backs, I could have throttled them at half-time, Handforth was nowhere to be seen and Thacks was having 'one of those days'. But they changed it around in the second half and despite it not being the most clinical at times they were much more creative and organised and it didn't half show!

Loved Barlow's celebration as well, top draw! :D

That spell after half time and the passion shown by the players is exactly what we love to see in the Blue and White Hoops. Theres always improvements to be made but that was a very good away win against a good side. This is a good honest league, this side we have can do as well as they want to in it.

Agree, we ground it out first half and we know Keigley are a hard nut to crack in defence so to get 30 points and a peach of a try to boot was good, we upped the game in the second half and we never looked like losing really.
Great support from Fax yesterdy.
Remember we are still down on numbrs with 5 injured/suspended players out.

Good win over the hill. Was always going to be a tough game but we ground it out, nothing too spectacular but enough for the win. Some sloppy defence late on but a game we never really looked like losing after dominating for much of the game.

Tough place to go this year. Fax we by far the better team in both A and D.

We seem to have taken a while to 'click' as a team, but for a 25min period at the start of the 2nd half yesterday we were awesome!

Big shouts to Ambler(again!) Barlow(Again) and Fieldhouse, all we superb!

Also thought that Rob played great, took afew testing balls and made Vgood yards forward.

Rhino will not be happy as we took the foot off the gas in the last 10 and allowed them afew consolations - we need to be ruthless this year!!!! something to work on - no injuries - 3 points!

Onwards and upwards - WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE!!!!!!

Well played Fax, better side on the day. We have a knack of scoring late points as we have against Featherstone and even Warrington. Shame we didnt get a point like we did at your place, Danny Jones missed all kicks so that didnt help, 0 from 4 is pretty cr*p.

Was great to see a good following , think you might have the title this year. good luck.
