For the record, the stand you were in is mixed - not an 'away' end - so Cockayne was quite justifiably celebrating a win with his team-mates, in front of his own supporters. Chucking things at him was not a reasonable response.

Either way, it was a great atmosphere today and I'm not overly worried if there were a few idiots - every club has them.

Come of it how can you be so naive cockayne knew exactly what he was doing he wasnt just celebrating for your benefit he knew he would get a reaction off the fc fans, a bit of clapping towards his own fans would of been sufficient but no he had to take it one step further and celebrate like he had just won a cup knowing it would get a reaction.

Hes a idiot of the highest order and if he wasnt a pro rugby player he would probably be sat in jail by now.

The mans a scumbag who should be in prison, he deserves everything he gets.

Hes a coward who stomps on people when they are on the floor, i doubt he would wind a large number of rival fans up if ther wasnt a fence between him and them he does it because he knows no one can get at him.

plenty of other players get booed and abused but they dont start winding up crowds they are professional sportsmen who ignore it i wouldnt mind but they'd only won a league game he was acting as if they'd won a cup final.

i doubt a lot of the fans would shout abuse at him if they were on there own but thats ok isnt it that theres a few thousand and didnt you cheer on your own racist thug a couple of seasons ago before he was sent down pot and kettle
einstien said insanity is when a person does the same thing over and over again but expects a different result

I cheered raynor on yeah but never defended him and lets face it raynor never behaved like cockayne does on the pitch and alot of people on twitter, facebook and on here seem to be applauding and defending cockaynes actions if he was a fc player i would be ashamed of him, its the same with any player who has been in trouble with the law they are bound to get abuse about it but they should of thought about these things befor comitting the crime they need to man up take it on the chin and be the bigger man and ignore it.

The same could probably be said of a significant majority of RL players. And footballers. And boxers.

The fact remains - you were mixed in with a large number of WTW fans (you know - the way it should be) and he celebrated a win with his team-mates and home supporters; you just happened to be there.

It's not all about you.

You realy are naive, a quick visit to cockaynes twitter account will prove he knew he would be winding up the fc fans.

Then maybe you should learn to let go? You only get wound up if you let yourself get wound up.

Your collective rancour has only served to get him trending on Twitter - Hull FC fans have made Ben Cockayne into RL's Robbie Savage.

I don't see the big deal, the supporters got on Cockaynes back, yet cry foul when he has the last laugh.
