does anyone know if James Laithwaite is now dual registered from HKR or is it still Warrington ?

He is going on loan from Warrington to Hull KR starting Tomorrow apparently, we wont see him as long as he is on loan to them.

Do you know what the situation would be if he was on loan to hkr but they dont play him,will we be able to have him then?

Seems a bit stupid in terms of Laithwaite progressing and getting game time. He is NOT in the HKR squad for Huddersfield tomorrow and then there will be no rugby for him the week after as it is the Exiles match. In other words, he is just going to be sitting on his backside for the next few weeks now instead of playing, if that info is correct. I bet he is delighted, NOT!

Fred Parky has answered that.

Seems to me if he is not in HKR's squad 2morro and as they have no match next weekend it is always possible the loan agreement may not begin until a week tomorrow.

An impeccable source told me today incidentally that the Pies are looking for a Non Relegation club to send Spencer out on loan to too.

Well I don't think that helps any Championship club at all ie loaning out a player to a club in the same league and I think the RFL should put a stop to it' not least because I rate both of the players I have mentioned.

You can't have a triple registered player - well not at this time anyway.

We have not heard anything about JL either on the Warrington board - I have resorted to coming over here to see what is going on !
I would also agree that the timing of the move looks a tad strange if he is not playing for two weeks. The only thing I can think of is that he could have been selected for the 9,s competition which is now running on a Tuesday night ?

Anyway, thanks for the support you have given him at Leigh - another good partnership between our two clubs. Long may it continue.

Finally, you are looking pretty good in the league at the moment. Perhaps there will be some silverware at the end of the season. The Batley match will be quite tasty, but on form I fancy you to pick up the points again.

It's the Northern Rail Cup QF, so no points

What is surprising about this loan deal is that HKR don't seem to be doing too bad for backrow forwards.

How and why this deal helps Laithwaite I wish someone would tell me and I thought that was why he was offered to Leigh in the first place.
