Sneyd kicked a blinder from the touch line when we needed it and also slotted over what should have been the winning conversion.
Apart from that which shouldn't be underestimated,he looked out of his depth.
Was you at the game? I highly doubt it. Sneyd may not been 100% today but you halved are the most awkward positions where you can just have someone stand in. Being a halves you run the game with the hooker, to fully judge Marc he'd need a 4 / 5 run of games. Makes me laugh people say we have talented youngsters yet we lose and people try make them a scapegoat. He easily has the best kicking game at Salford and with the confidence of game time he would flourish. Maybe you should be questioning Matty Smith, this great player who Wigan are touted for. He had a shocking game, Chase dominated him and Mr Orr looked a world beater scooting from dummy half. Also on Smith, the people from Wigan seem to think he has a great kicking game, what about that kick with 1 minute on the clock, straight down Williams?!? throat when it should of been drilled into touch and eaten up the clock forming a scrum! Failing that kicking it over the try line and let them have a tap on the 20. Why was we throwing the ball about when we couldn't even complete a set, the coach has to take blame for that, why wasn't Wild getting a grip on the players to control the game. Was Ashurst try really obstruction? Before people say that would of won us the game we scored after that and still didn't win the game. Also Gleeson knocking on over the line. Poor effort today struggling to think of a player to come out holding head up high, young Snyed? it is nice to see the flags going up from a conversion for a change!
