:IDEA: ...I used to be the scoreboard operator throughout most of the 80's, and am positive I could do a better job than the current "man-in-a-van"....but only if you ask nicely :wink: :wink:

Yes you did along with my brother. Those were the days when there was a brick built scoreboard behind the posts along with a clock, both of which could be seen from every point in the ground I believe. Also remember I stood up there with you both Dec 1983 when Hull were the visitors and Sterling & Lewis made their respective debuts.

Yes, go in the North stand can't see the clock or the scoreboard.
