I'd be gutted, very much a backwards step if true, I'd rather spend that kind of money on a prop and trust one of the youngsters or see how Towers performs.

Is this Towers an Aussie, from your academy or French? He's the one from the French league?

He's an Aussie, who we signed from Limoux, who is now playing in our academy. So your sort of right on all 3

Have you heard the rumours about Paul Wellens receiving an offer from Salford. Saints are reluctant to offer him a new deal and Salford are rumoured to have made him an offer. How would you feel about that?

Pretty much the polar opposite of Luke Patten so should delight the Turkey posters who think our current full back is our worst player ever because he (allegedly) isn't much cop in one on ne situations. I think Wellens is one of the best fbs in SL - excellent defensively and good support player. Would rather we invested in someone younger but, providing he's not about to fall apart physically, he'd be a top filler fo the next couple of years whilst we bring a few youngsters through

Andrew Dixon is rumoured to have signed for Salford for next season. Another second rower, but a much better prospect than Matty Ashurst. Shades of Lee Gilmour in his running style and a lot of Saints fans unhappy that he's been let go.

If we get Dixon does that mean no new deal for Adamson? I think Ashurst has been very good for us so if Dixon is better brilliant! Glad to see confirmation that Williams has agreed a 2 yr deal as well. Also I asked Sean Long if he is staying long term & his response was 'all will be revealed' - watch this space I think!

Or maybe Anderson? I think they're both off contract at the end of the year.
