For those of us who were in the bar what happened at half-time?

I came back out just as the PA guy said about the programme 'hopefully being on in September'

The 'fool Britannia' part was the match. The singer was the best bit up until the winning try.

Did wonder what all the cameras were for. A little let down that it was for a televised spoof - yes it was clearly a gag ( and a funny one) but seems like it was 'at' us rather than for us will have to see how it comes across when broadcast.

Supposedly a winner of some talent contest was half time entertainment but had trouble with song, asked everyone to be quiet and told Widnes to stay off pitch. Landed up with him throwing mike down and storming off. Was a spoof for a Dom Jolly show for ITV.

Dom Joly's "show" for a forthcoming TV series served simply to confirm my view that live sport, particularly RL [yeah even Leigh] is the only thing worth watching on the box.

Suit yourself, but I found it more entertaining than anything in the first half and it generated more atmosphere.

Umm, beg to differ totally. To each his own though.
