Or we could put Horne on the wing. He is an international in that position, after all.

He would do a job there, maybe not as fast as he was in but a lot better solution than Lyne...I think I will have a tear in my eye if I see Lyne come out on the wing at Wakey tbh

Horne
Russell
Turner
Yeaman/Crooks
Briscoe
Seymour
Ellis
Lynch
Houghton
Moa
Manu
Tickle
Aspinwall

Bench
Whiting
Westerman
O Carroll
Pitts

Ellis is on the outer so doubt this will be the team but backs look more solid to me with a flexible bench. As mentionned both Tickle and Manu need resting at some point.
If you are not part of the solution then you are more likely part of the problem...

Strange how this time last year everyone was pleading for Whiting to be played on the wing instead of Sharp, how times change! The concern I've got with Lyne isn't to do with his game, but more his attitude. Against Wire in the 20's he seemed to put a lot of blame on the rest of the team, rather than taking a bit of responsibility himself. There was a few examples when he was flailing his arms up in the air after one of his team mates made a mistake or took the wrong option, but when he made a mistake himself he seemed quick to blame others. He did alright playing-wise though, not just scoring, but put a few nice balls in throughout the game. I'd start Lyne, give him a bit of confidence going into the game, and let Agar target him, just like he did Sharp at the KC. If things do go a bit pear shaped and he does start to get exposed, we have players who can fill in, but also take a bit of pressure off Lyne.

1. Russell
2. Lyne
3. Yeaman
4. Crooks
5. Briscoe
6. Horne
7. Seymour
8. Lynch
9. Houghton
10. Moa
11. Tickle
12. Manu
13. Westerman

14. Pitts
15. O'Carroll
16. Whiting
17. Turner

Could be a long afternoon if we have a winger and a full back who can't catch

Tim Smith can't kick so you should be ok, although he's been better in recent weeks.

I hope we get a result, because im not too keen on the table as of last night, now the dobbins are close behind.

Ok, so we have a game in hand, but not an easy one.

Cmon Hull, show us different that you WANT this one!

If Horne starts at 6 now that Whiting is available then I'd start to doubt PG selection policy. Horne was ineffective to the extreme last week and senior players cannot think they can simply walk into the team.
Its always funny til someone gets hurt

and then its just hilarious

Quite. Test for Gentle to see if he puts his money where his mouth is regarding seniority v form. I'll be very surprised if Whiting isn't at off half tomorrow, mind.

Yeah i agree, they are all replaceable!

Horne is on a steady decline in my opinion.

Hes been a good servant to the club, but not cutting it anymore in my eyes.
