Credit where it's due, I notice the coach and team are only blaming themselves.  I wonder if Gentle got the apology from Ganson he was asking for after the match?

Seems a few on the FC forum are praising Pearson for this and wished more chairmen would speak up. Strangely its the same ones who were calling hudge a moaner, short memories.

The Black and Whites owner continued: “Magic Weekend is supposed to be a showpiece for our sport, a spectacle for our fans and our chance to position ourselves nationally in a football saturated world.
Well, true, but it's not as if the sport which saturates the world is without it's controversial decisions. The forward pass is ultimately a judgement call whereas a football bouncing in goal one meter beyond the line should not be.
So I doubt this forward pass will have put too many people off rugby league.
