No Jake is right, Clarkson is Washbrook without the versatility, a squad filler rather than one near the first choice 17. Being good enough to be a regular starter in the dobbins pack and a Super League pack are not one and the same. Not a signing I would be happy about and neither would be Hock for any number of the many previously raised issues about him.

washbrook is several notches better than clarkson. He's like a less talented jay pitts

I've not seen anyone on here over reacting and saying they won't renew if we sign hock and if we didn't discuss rumours and express opinions there wouldn't be much left to do

Who'd have thought fans on a forum would express their thoughts on rumours and stories in the local media about the club they support

Like you said JTP can't say I've seen or heard of anyone over reacting or saying they won't renew, just pretty much sensible responses to stories in the public domain about players the club are rumoured to be interested in.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

The issue for me with Hock as a signing is we got rid/sold Watts who is without doubt one of the best forwards in SL and the rumoured reason being his discipline yet Hock is no where the level of Watts in today's game yet with more issues than Watts.

Your safe hock said on twitter he didnt want to take a backward step at this stage of his career.

Downs has signed for Batley, so that frees up a bit of cap space.

Been a solid hard worker but not really stood out and we have loads of 2nd rowers.
