Watching SoR today and another great game. I totally don't think we should allus copy the Aussies at everything they do but in this concept I can't see why we haven't got summat similar. You can see how much it means to the players and would be great in preparation for international matches. Anyway, Up The Fax! It's coming home!

It's because we don't have enough players with that level of allegiance to their cause.

Yorkshire v Lancashire doesn't work - how can you be proud of playing for Lancashire ? Nobody will admit to living there. :USTUPID:

So you're reduced to creating some artificial banners to play under. Difficult - because you have to have a high level of allegiance AND they've got to be roughly equal so that the outcome is in doubt.

I can understand people from Warrington wanting to live in Cheshire or folk in Barrow wanting to be Cumbrian but when folk in Sintellins are claiming to be Scousers :shock: , you know that being Lancastrian can't be good.
