As someone mentioned earlier John Holmes used to turn out for the A team...it was a total joy watching him play at any level but guiding a young team around was an education.

I had some great nights watching the old 'A' team games at Headingley

My mate Gareth Ingham played back then so i used to go watch him each week

I recall seeing some right characters back then playing and IMO they knew their limits talent wise but were just happy turning out for Leeds

Not really concerned with why GH has changed his mind, just glad he has.

He’s changed his mind because the people around him have grown balls to tell him how wrong he was. He was an idiot about it previously, and as a consequence has had a further negative effect on the quality of the game as a whole.

Like i say, not really bothered why, whether he's seen the light, been persuaded or been forced. Just happy we look like we'r going to be running one and running one in a proper reserves comp.
