I'd say no too. Whilst I would love all of Rugby League to tap into the significant asian communities in West Yorkshire, I think it would be futile.
Barriers to going to watch soccer could be the fear of racism but that's a brush that particular sport is tarnished with. The reason for not coming to watch Rugby is probably just apathy.
Ikram Butt has worked his whole life to get South Asian communities playing and watching rugby (either code) but you'd have to say the indifferent results speak for themselves.
